Speaking content

11–14 minutes with an examiner. Part 1: familiar topics. Part 2: 1 minute prep, 1–2 minute talk. Part 3: abstract discussion.

Part 1

4–5 minutes

Two familiar topics.

Topic A — Hometown: Where is your hometown? What do you like most about it? Has it changed much in recent years? Would you recommend it to a visitor? Why?
Topic B — Reading: Do you read much? What kinds of things do you like to read? Do you prefer paper books or digital? Did you enjoy reading as a child?

Part 2

3–4 minutes

Describe the topic below. You have 1 minute to prepare and 1–2 minutes to speak.
