Two familiar topics.
- Topic A — Work or studies: Do you work or are you studying? What do you enjoy most about it? What would you like to be doing in five years?
- Topic B — Music: What kinds of music do you like? When do you usually listen to music? Have your tastes changed since you were a teenager?
Part 2
Part 2 · Long turn
3–4 minutes
1 minute prep, 1–2 minute talk.
Cue card
Describe a person who has had a positive influence on your life.
You should say:
- who the person is
- how you know them
- what kind of person they are
- and explain why they have influenced you.
Examiner follow-ups
- • Do you still see this person often?
- • Have you told them about their influence on you?
